The client was burdened with manual, paper-based grant management processes that made it challenging to track and oversee their grant programs effectively. These processes were not only time-consuming but also prone to errors.

The organization struggled to maintain a clear overview of their funding programs, leading to difficulty in allocating resources efficiently and making informed decisions.

Communication between grantseekers, grantees, and internal staff was fragmented and often resulted in miscommunication and delays in the grant application and disbursement process.

Managing different types of disbursements, including one-time payments and multi-installment disbursements tied to specific funding programs was a major challenge.

  1. The OFM allowed the client to digitize grant applications, making it easier for grantseekers to apply and for the foundation to evaluate and manage requests efficiently.
  2. With the OFM, all grant-related data, including funding programs, funding requests, and funding request roles, were consolidated within Salesforce, providing a single source of truth for the organization.
  3. The OFM facilitated communication between stakeholders through automated notifications and updates, ensuring that grantseekers, grantees, and internal staff were always informed and aligned.
  4. Managing complex disbursements was simplified through the OFM's support for various payment types, from one-time grants to multi-installment disbursements, while adhering to specific restrictions and fund designations.
  1. More efficient grant application and evaluation process: The automation of manual processes significantly reduced the risk of errors and allowed staff to focus on value-added tasks. The grant application and evaluation process became more efficient, reducing processing times.
  2. Real-time insights into funding programs: The Client gained real-time insights into their funding programs and disbursements. They could now make data-driven decisions, allocate resources more effectively, and measure the impact of their grant programs.
  3. Enhanced communication with grantseekers and grantees: Automated notifications and updates enhanced communication with grantseekers and grantees. This resulted in better relationships and a more transparent and responsive grant management process.
  4. Enhanced convenience: The OFM allowed the foundation to handle a variety of disbursement types and fund designations, ensuring they complied with donor restrictions and delivered funds accurately and on time.
